The Golden Triangle Ole Miss Club will hold its annual meeting Thursday at The Ritz Theater and Conference Center in West Point.
University of Mississippi Director of Athletics Ross Bjork is a featured guest. A social hour begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program at 6:30 p.m.
“We truly enjoy traveling the great state of Mississippi to see the Ole Miss family and share the exciting news about the entire University and what lies ahead,” said Bjork. “With so much momentum around our programs, it is imperative we grow our base of support and continue to wrap our arms around our friends, alumni and donors.”
In addition to his role at the university, Bjork has established a leadership role in the SEC by being appointed chair of the awards committee and selected to the NCAA basketball issues committee and the NCAA recruiting cabinet.
Wiley Hutchins is president of the Golden Triangle club.
“It’s an exciting time to be a Rebel,” Hutchins said. “Ross Bjork’s leadership and vision have advanced Ole Miss athletics back to national prominence. We are very appreciative of Ross Bjork and his team joining us for this event to share this excitement with the Golden Triangle Ole Miss family.”
All proceeds from Thursday’s gathering will be applied to the Golden Triangle Ole Miss Club’s scholarship endowment fund.
Tickets to the annual meeting, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar, are $25 per person in advance and $30 at the door. Sign up in advance at olemissalumni.com/events. Sponsorships are available for $100 and include two tickets to the event and recognition. For more information, contact Hutchins at [email protected].
The Ritz is located at 125 Commerce St. in downtown West Point.
