VICKSBURG — Eleven people have been arrested in a weeklong string of vandalism in Vicksburg that authorities say caused thousands of dollars in damage and destroyed more than three dozen windows of business and vehicles.
Police Capt. Sandra Williams tells The Vicksburg Post 19-year-old Damian Jones and a juvenile were arrested Monday and charged with three counts of felony malicious mischief each.
Williams says police on Saturday police arrested Qunicy Brown, Travious Jackson, Robert Devoils and Joques Pierce, who are all 18, and five juveniles.
The 11 suspects were scheduled to appear Wednesday in Vicksburg Municipal Court. It is not known if they have attorneys.
The six adults were held Tuesday in the Issaquena County jail awaiting their initial court appearances. The juveniles are being held in the Warren County jail.
