GULFPORT — Executives with Mississippi-based Hancock Holding Company are slated to ring the opening bell for the Nasdaq stock market on Aug. 25.
Hancock said in a Wednesday news release that the ceremony will mark the approaching 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina.
Hancock Holding, with headquarters in Gulfport, operates banks in the five Gulf Coast states under the Hancock and Whitney brands. Next year will be Hancock Holding Company’s 25th year of trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
