The Starkville Academy Patrons Association will hold their annual Back-to-School Rodeo Round Up at the Mississippi Horse Park from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The Round Up features over 20 kid-friendly activities, including everything from inflatables and a four-sided rock wall to a photo booth and dunking station. Children can also enjoy pony rides on the arena floor. The event will also feature a silent auction. The event is open to the public.
Concessions will also be available, and event-goers can visit the bake sale or make their own treat at the Sandy Candy station.
“The Back-to-School Rodeo Round Up came to the Horse Park in 2011 and we see more and more smiling faces come through the gates each year,” said Bricklee Miller, facility director of the MS Horse Park. “With admission being so economical, it is a great place to bring the entire family for an afternoon of fun.”
The Rodeo Round Up has become one of SAPA’s largest fundraisers, according to SAPA president Missy Walters. Proceeds from the event have gone to school improvements, including technology upgrades.
