Starkville police officers took a local man wanted in connection with a residential burglary into custody Thursday without incident.
Officers began searching for Xavier Devon Cotton, 19, of Starkville, after receiving a call Tuesday about a burglary in progress at Wildwood Trailer Park.
Cotton was apprehended in the Lynn Lane area and arrested without incident on outstanding misdemeanor and felony warrants.
He was transported to Oktibbeha County Jail, where he is held on a $15,000 bond for the residential burglary charge.
Cotton will make his initial appearance in Starkville Municipal Court Monday.
Officers also arrested Xavier Deundra Williams, 18, of Starkville, in connection with the Tuesday burglary.
He also faces a residential burglary charge.
