At least two people were injured when a vehicle collided with a Starkville-Oktibbeha Consolidated School District bus Wednesday morning.
SOCSD officials confirmed the wreck occurred in the area of the old Highway 12-New Light Road intersection, near an apartment complex.
It is unknown what caused the wreck, but the bus driver reported minor back pains, while a student was treated for a minor cut, SOCSD officials said.
The condition of the other vehicle occupants was unknown at press time. Starkville Police Department officials did not return a request for information.
Nicole Thomas, SOCSD’s public information officer, confirmed six students were on the school bus at the time of the wreck.
