The Starkville Police Department has obtained warrants for and is seeking two male suspects believed to be connected to a pair of drive-by shootings that occurred Wednesday in Starkville.
Police are searching for Corey “Smooth” Quinn, 26, of Woodland and Derek Javonte “Magic” Hardnett, 21, of Starkville, according to a department news release. Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous and SPD is urging anyone who sees them not to approach them and to call 911.
The men are wanted for a drive-by shootings that happened on Tabor Street and North Montgomery Street on Wednesday.
SPD arrested Nia Kamyra Smith, 19, on Thursday on suspicion of drive-by shooting, possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge in connection with Wednesday’s shootings.
