The Trust Services Division of Cadence Bank, located in Columbus, in September announced the promotions of Colleen Reyes, Suzanne Langford, Shannon Stafford and Kate Nevins.
Reyes has been promoted to senior vice president and currently oversees the retirement planning and IRA areas for the department. Since joining the Trust department in 1997, she has been involved in all aspects of the department including operations, personal trust and estates, and investments and retirement services. Reyes is a graduate of Mississippi University of Women, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies and Music.
Langford, who has been a part of the Cadence Bank team for 25 years, has been promoted to trust operations officer. In her current role, she provides operational support for all stocks and bonds trades along with special asset management. Langford is a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Stafford, who has eight years of combined experience in trust, retirement services and investment management, has been promoted to assistant vice president. She is a graduate of Mississippi State University and is active with Junior Auxiliary of Columbus, where she currently serves as vice president, and also previously served on First United Methodist Church’s Finance Committee.
Nevins, who has six years of professional experience in trust and investment services, has been promoted to trust analyst and investment officer. Nevins is a graduate of Mississippi University for Women and completed her MBA at Mississippi State University. In her current position, she analyzes asset allocations, maintains unique assets, and provides special projects in the investment area. Prior to working in the Trust department, she served as an internal auditor for the bank.
