ABERDEEN — The Monroe County Law Enforcement Wives helped make the county’s deputies safer with the donation of 20 body cameras, purchased with $10,000 raised through a recent online crowdfunding campaign.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Curtis Knight tells the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal this was needed with so many officers being targeted across the nation.
He says the cameras are equipped with night vision.
