A Georgia man faces up to 10 years in jail for allegedly having incestuous relations with a family member in 2013, court records show.
Dan Dewayne Newcomb, of Fayetteville, Georgia, was arrested by Starkville police officers Tuesday and charged with adultery and fornication between certain persons forbidden to intermarry.
He was processed and taken to Oktibbeha County Jail, where he awaits his initial appearance in Starkville Municipal Court.
A complaint filed by a person listed as a family member alleges the incident occurred on Aug. 10, 2013, at 982 Highway 12.
The complaint states the maximum penalty for the charge is 10 years in jail.
