Two West Point men have been arrested and charged with statutory rape.
Ryan J. Cox, 25, who lives on Industrial Access Road, and Tevin Nance, 24, of 819 Sixth Street, were both arrested by the West Point Police Department this week. Both of their bonds were set at $50,000, according to Tim Brinkley, chief of police with the WPPD. Nance remains in custody. Cox bonded out.
“The investigation stems from a report of sexual contact between two men and a juvenile female,” a WPPD press release states.
Brinkley declined to release when or where the alleged incident occurred.
The case remains under investigation. WPPD authorities ask anyone with information to contact Golden Triangle CrimeStoppers at 662-494-1244.
