The Lowndes County Circuit Clerk’s office is now providing absentee ballots for the primary election in March.
Mississippi will hold its primaries for Republican and Democratic presidential nominees on March 8.
The circuit clerk’s office will provide absentee ballots during normal hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as 8 a.m. to noon on Feb. 27 and March 5.
The deadline to vote absentee at the circuit clerk’s office is March 5. Ballots that have been mailed to voters must be returned via mail by March 7.
