The three arrested for violation of probation leaves yet pertinent unanswered questions; i.e. what was the date that they violated probation? What is the average length of time between violation of probation and arrest? How many outstanding probation violators are there? Many circuit judges and district attorneys in other states have long been setting excellent examples of justice served. Many of them recognize and acknowledge that repeat offenders are most likely to commit additional heinous felonies. Therefore they do not hesitate to sentence serious felons to the maximum sentence allowed. These defenders of the safety in their communities need to be commended. Others failing to take notice need to be replaced for failing to perform the very duties that they swore to perform. The time for some serious negligence accounting has come.
