North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point announced the employment of Dr. Kenneth R. Thomas.
Dr. Thomas is a 1997 graduate of the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science, earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Mississippi State University in 2002, earned his medical degree from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed and internship in general surgery at the University of Virginia. In 2011 he completed a residency in urology at the University of Virginia where he served as chief resident and is board certified in urology.
Dr. Thomas has practiced in Starkville since 2011 and serves in several community leadership roles. He is an active member of the Mississippi State Medical Association and serves as secretary and treasurer of the affiliated Prairie Medical Society.
