Former Mississippi State University quarterback Dak Prescott, 22, was arrested for driving under the influence Saturday.
Starkville Police Department Chief Frank Nichols confirmed the football standout was pulled over in the Cotton District.
Prescott was arrested around 12:45 a.m. Saturday morning according to a SPD press release.
Prescott posted bond and was released.
During his college career, Prescott broke every passing record at MSU and owns 38 school records (15 career, 15 single-season and eight single-game). He led the Bulldogs to a victory in the Belk Bowl in Charlotte, North Carolina, this past December in his final college game.
The Haughton, Louisiana, native is projected to go anywhere from the second or fourth round in April’s National Football League Draft.
