The old Trustmark building at the corner of Highway 45 North and Bluecutt Road has a new owner.
Dutch Health Services purchased the three-story structure on Jan. 15. The plan is to open a medical clinic and pharmacy in the building’s first floor, according to Matt Bogue, a representative with The Dutch Group.
(Dutch Health Services is the health care affiliate of The Dutch Group, which is based in Columbus.)
Both the clinic and pharmacy are slated to open next month. The building will be renamed “Allegro Plaza.” Right now, the first floor is being remodeled.
The clinic will specialize in family practice and pediatric care. It will employ about nine people.
The pharmacy will provide walk-in, drive-thru and delivery service. It will employ about four people.
The old Trustmark building is about 19,000 square feet. Bogue told The Dispatch this week about 6,000 square feet of office space is available for potential tenants.
“The entire second floor is available for lease to one or more tenants,” he said.
Dutch Health Services opened Allegro Family Clinic in New Hope three years ago. Last year, it merged with New Hope Medical Clinic. Since then the clinic has doubled its patient volume, according to owner Joe Gillis.
The New Hope clinic employs nine people. Bogue said a few of them will move to Allegro Plaza when the clinic there opens.
