A 25-year-old Columbus man is facing aggravated domestic violence charges following an incident last weekend.
The Columbus Police Department on Sunday arrested Khiry Bush, of 110 21st St. S.
The case began when officers went to a 21st Street South address after receiving a report of a vehicle being vandalized, according to a CPD media release. The vehicle had been set on fire. That case remains under investigation, authorities say.
Officers say that while at the scene, they “learned that an act of domestic violence had occurred.” The victim had been taken to an area hospital, according to the release.
That’s when Bush was arrested. He has been charged with aggravated domestic violence.
His bond was set at $30,000.
In an unrelated incident, Patrick Antwon Harrison, 34, of 710 Spruce St., was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual battery.
CPD says the case began Monday when investigators received a report of alleged assault. The victim in the case claimed to have been sexually assaulted on March 27 at an 11th Street South residence, according to CPD. Warrants for Harrison’s arrest were subsequently issued.
He has been charged with sexual battery.
His bond was set at $25,000.
