A Columbus man is facing two felonies after police said he tried to break into a Ninth Avenue North business this weekend and then flee in a stolen vehicle.
Officers with the Columbus Police Department arrested Patrick Denver Alexander, 23, of 1227 Casey Lane, on Sunday. They had gone to Acme Window Tint about 11:25 a.m. in response to an alarm activation, according to a CPD media release.
Authorities said they found Alexander at the scene and he attempted to steal a vehicle and leave the area.
Alexander has been charged with burglary of a commercial business and felony taking of a motor vehicle.
His bond was set at $25,000.
