Three Columbus men have been arrested and charged with possession of marijuana of more than one ounce.
The arrests happened just after 12 a.m. Saturday after officers with the Columbus Police Department initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive off Main Street, said Assistant Police Chief Fred Shelton. The driver of the vehicle was not wearing a seatbelt, Shelton said.
The officer smelled marijuana coming from the car, according to Shelton's report.
