A Columbus man accused of attempted sexual assault is still in Lowndes County Adult Detention Center, according to city police.
Columbus police officers arrested Jason Lamonta Hudson, 25, of 806 21st Street N., on Friday, a department press release said. While the release said the alleged assault occurred at a 21st Street North residence, CPD Capt. Brent Swan would not confirm to The Dispatch whether the incident happened at Hudson’s address. Swan also would not release further details about the incident.
Municipal Judge Gary Goodwin set Hudson’s bond at $40,000, the release noted.
