Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott said officers caught Gray at about 6:15 p.m.
Gray escaped the Clay County Detention Center about 1 a.m. Saturday. Scott said Gray broke through an expanded portion of the ceiling holding a light fixture.
A Clay County grand jury indicted Gray on July 14 for escaping the county jail in October 2015, when he reportedly tore out an air vent covering in the ceiling and crawled up to the facility’s rooftop.
