Columbus police have arrested two more suspects in an ongoing cyberstalking case.
Marcell Terrell Bishop, 24, of 105 Maple St., turned himself in to city officers Monday. Gerald Demarcus Williams, 24, of 310 Curtis Rd., turned himself in Tuesday. Both have been charged with cyberstalking, according to a press release from Columbus Police Department.
Bishop and Williams are accused of threatening someone with bodily harm in a video posted online. Police had previously released an announcement asking for Bishop’s and Williams’ whereabouts.
These are the second and third arrests the CPD has made in connection with the cyberstalking case. Last week, officers arrested Freddie L. Williams, 32, of 106 Madiera Dr., and charged him with cyberstalking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Williams is accused of creating the threatening video and posting it online, according to a CPD press release. The press release also claims Williams displays a gun in the video.
Freddie Williams also has an unrelated shoplifting charge. His bond has been set at $30,000. He is still in custody.
Bishop and Gerald Williams were both released after each posted $5,000 bond.
