Columbus police are seeking a suspect in an alleged armed robbery.
A police department press release said officers responded to the reported incident at 30 Day Check Cashing, located at 201 Alabama St, Suite W, at about 10:28 a.m. Friday.
The suspect, a black male, entered the business, brandished a handgun and demanded money from an employee, the release says. He was reportedly wearing glasses, a red sweater-style shirt and jeans at the time.
No one was injured and the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money, city Public Information Officer Joe Dillon said.
The release said the man was last seen running north on McCrary Road.
