Starkville police are asking the community to help identify a credit card skimming suspect.
A photo provided by the police department shows what appears to be a person dressed a black jacket, next to a black SUV. SPD provided no other details about the suspect.
Credit card skimming involves using a device to capture credit card data from transaction points, such as ATMs or other devices that scan the card’s magnetic strip.
SPD advises residents to call the police department if they discover skimming devices.
Anyone with information into these or any other incidents is asked to call SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
