ABERDEEN — Eight individuals being held at the Monroe County Jail will not be charged in the death of the Aberdeen man they allegedly assaulted and robbed.
Monroe County Coroner Alan Gurley reported Tuesday that Bo Lenoir, 66, died of natural causes just days after being attacked at his home.
Lenoir, owner of a laundromat on Highway 45 Alternate South, was attacked and robbed by a group of seven people at his home at 405 Albert St. in Aberdeen shortly after midnight on March 30, police said. The group knocked on Lenoir”s door and rushed him when he answered. One member of the group smashed Lenoir in the face with a brick, splitting his nose, before the group made off with a safe and an undisclosed number of guns.
Lenoir passed away Monday morning at Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen.
Aberdeen police have released the identities of six adults being held in connection to the crime. Two juveniles are also being held and charged as adults.
- Jaboris J. Carter, 18, of 706 S. Thayer Road in Aberdeen, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
- Kinya Lenoir, 24, of 502 Highway 25 S. in Aberdeen, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
- Quinton Michael Smith, 18, of 1000 S. Chestnut St. in Aberdeen, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
- Victoria Blanchard, 18, of 111 Minor Circle Lot 9 in Aberdeen, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
- Eric D. Sacus, 19, of 103 Century Drive in Aberdeen, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
- Brittany T. Cole, 23, of 10107 IMC Road in Aberdeen is charged with accessory after the fact.
- Xzavious D. Ford, 16 is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
- Saquille A. Moore, 16, is charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and aggravated assault.
