Few details about the incident or suspect are known at this time, but Starkville Police Department released photos of an unidentified African-American man and a white automobile in an effort to receive tips and information from the public.

The images were taken from surveillance camera footage from at least one gas station Aug. 13.

The suspect appears to be wearing a white T-shirt and was believed to be driving a white car, possibly a Lexus.
