The former Rehab at Work, which operates two locations in Columbus, one in Amory and one in Brooksville, has rebranded as Elite Physical Therapy.
The two Columbus locations are at 2429 Fifth St. N. and 65 Dutch Lane. The Brooksville center is located at 214 Highway 388.
Elite Physical Therapy, which specializes in pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, sports medicine, orthopedics, manual therapy and aquatic therapy, is operated by parent company, Pennsylvania-based Drayer Physical Therapy Group.
All together, Drayer operates 28 centers across Mississippi that will now work under the Elite brand.
Also in Columbus, the Wingate Hotel by Wyndham, located on Brickerton Street, is nearing completion of a major renovation.
Work began in June, and once completed on Nov. 1, the hotel will offer a full fitness center, marketplace, updated pool area and a business center for guests.
The Wingate will also hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in January to officially unveil the new additions.
For style-minded consumers, Melinda Latham, founder of Sweet Purseonality, will have her first sale event Nov. 3 in the Best Western Meeting Room in Columbus.
Sweet Purseonality sells authentic designer handbags, accessories and shoes, both new and used, up to 70 percent off retail prices.
Although doors will be open from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Latham recommends arriving early for the best selection.
Cake and refreshments will be served at 11 a.m., and door prizes will also be available.
Moving on to Starkville, Walmart on Highway 12 is expanding its services to provide online grocery shopping/store pick-up to customers, similar to Kroger’s ClickList service.
Exterior changes, including pick-up signs and additional parking spaces designated for online pick-ups, will be added. However the majority of the renovations will be on the interior to compensate for the additional storage space the store needs to provide this service. A total of 3,200 square feet will be renovated.
Lastly, Starkville Computers is moving.

Starkville Computers sells new computers, and they also repair any brand PC and Apple products.
