Police arrested 60-year-old Johnny B. Harris on Tuesday on the felony warrant. Starkville Police Department Public Information Officer Brandon Lovelady confirmed the alleged victim is a juvenile but released no other details.
An affidavit, which The Dispatch obtained through a public records request, says Harris engaged in sexual penetration with a child on Dec. 22, 2017. The incident happened at Harris' home at Sandhill Arms in Starkville, according to the affidavit.
Harris has been released from Oktibbeha County Jail after posting $50,000 bond.
