Columbus Police Department officers responded to 3,837 calls in April, including 20 armed robbery calls, 194 auto accidents, 12 curfew violations, 310 disturbance calls, 18 calls regarding property lost or damaged and 207 calls about suspicious people, vehicles or circumstances.
The CPD last week released its latest monthly crime statistics, which are used to plan strategies for policing.
Most of the calls for service were requests to check businesses — 948 calls — or traffic related — 659 calls.
Police also made 154 arrests in April.
