A Monroe County man missing since Saturday has been found unharmed in Tupelo.
Columbus Police Department issued a press release Wednesday asking the public for help finding Billy Ray Parker, 52, who had not been seen since Saturday. This morning, authorities found Parker at the Salvation Army in Tupelo, according to CPD’s Twitter. Authorities believe someone found Parker and gave him a ride.
Parker went missing after he was discharged from Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, according to a CPD press release. Parker was supposed to return home after leaving the hospital.
Parker takes medication for dementia, the press release said.
