A man involved in a Thursday shooting has turned himself in to Columbus Police Department.
David Porter, 22, of Columbus, faces multiple charges including aggravated assault after he allegedly shot into a vehicle in south Columbus Thursday afternoon.
Investigators were called to the 400 block of 19th Street South in Columbus at about 3:40 p.m. where a woman reported her car had been shot into. She and Porter, who have had a romantic relationship prior, had been in an argument earlier.
The victim’s car was shot twice, but no one was injured in the shooting.
Porter turned himself in to CPD later Thursday.
