The following arrests were reported by the Columbus Police Department:
- Thomas Denham, 42, of 401 Fifth St. S., Apt. 14, was arrested Sunday by the CPD on a charge of burglary and larceny of a dwelling. No bond or court date has been set. The arrest stems from a burglary that occurred on Sunday morning, at about 6 a.m. Entrance into the home was gained by kicking in the front door. The living room was vandalized, and a wallet with an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the residence.
- Carlos Montez Hawthorne, 32, of 1301 Fourth St. S. was arrested by the CPD Saturday on a charge of grand larceny. No bond or court date has been set. The arrest stems from an incident on Saturday, where two four-wheelers were reported missing from 225 20th St. S.
Police saw Hawthorne riding one of the four-wheelers on Sixth Avenue and 16th Street South. The CPD''s Criminal Investigations Division was contacted, and Hawthorne was arrested.
- Johnny Tyrone Hampton Sr., 49, of 612 Sycamore St., was arrested on a charge of felony domestic violence. No bond or court date has been set. The arrest stems from an incident on Sunday at approximately 10 a.m.
Officers responded to a disturbance at 612 Sycamore St. CID was contacted; the disturbance is still under investigation.
