Sixteenth District Circuit judges James Kitchens and Lee Howard handed down the following sentences in these cases decided during this term of Lowndes County Circuit Court:
Howard presiding:
- Brodrick Scott Hayen, of 805 Seventh St. S. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to DUI-third offense. Hayden was sentenced to one year of house arrest, four years probation and fined $2,000.
- Darius T. Arnold, of 5914 Havenswood Drive in Houston, Texas, was sentenced to five years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections after post-release supervision on a prior conviction for possession of marijuana greater than one kilogram was revoked.
- Arliann Baker, of 59 N. Stateline Road in Caledonia, pleaded guilty to the sale of hydrocodone and alprazolam. Baker was sentenced to three years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $2,000.
- Alisha Shaw, of 6945 Watermill Road in Millport, Ala., pleaded guilty to possession of ephedrine less than 15 grams. Shaw was sentenced to one year in MDOC, four years post-release supervision and fined $1,000.
- Albert Demetric Jethrow Jr., of 242 Wilson Drive in Columbus, pleaded guilty to two counts of sale of marijuana less than 30 grams. Jethrow was sentenced to eight years in MDOC and fined $1,000.
- Rebecca Cobb, of 5167 Highway 96 in Millport, Ala., was sentenced to six years in MDOC, four years post-release supervision and fined $1,000 after post-release supervision on a prior conviction for possession of precursors was revoked.
- Lavance Craven, 701 20th St. N. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to two counts of burglary of a business. Craven was sentenced to two years of house arrest, five years probation and fined $1,535.
- Jeremiah Douglas, of 297 Maderia Drive in Columbus, was sentenced to seven years in MDOC after a suspended sentence for a prior conviction for domestic violence-aggravated assault was revoked.
- Thomas Earl Austin, of 156 Pandora Drive in Columbus, was found guilty of possession of a firearm by a felon. Austin was sentenced to 10 years in MDOC and fined $5,000.
- Kirby Taylor, of 416 17th St. S. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to aggravated DUI. Taylor was sentenced to eight years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $1,135.
Kitchens presiding:
- Tony Kidd, of 906 17th St. N. No. 2 in Columbus, pleaded guilty to sale of cocaine and two counts of sale of marijuana. Kidd was sentenced to 17 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $5,000.
- Yotyler Miller, of 3305 Wysteria Road in Columbus, pleaded guilty to robbery and burglary of a dwelling. Miller was sentenced to 15 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $3,500.
- Shannon R. Stone, of 104 Mill St. in Columbus, pleaded guilty to false pretense. Stone was sentenced to three years probation and fined $2,194.
n Terry Lee Truelove, of 5914 Highway 12 East in Steens, was found guilty of kidnapping and two counts of domestic violence. Truelove was sentenced to 25 years in the MDOC.
- Robert Holley Jr., of 110 County Road No. 30 in Ethelsville, Ala., pleaded guilty to nine counts of burglary. Holley was sentenced to 11 years in MDOC, five years post-release supervision and fined $8,829.
- Anthony Sean Johnson, of 1867 B. Rich Road in Crawford, was sentenced to five years in MDOC after a suspended sentence for an earlier conviction for felony shoplifting was revoked.
