Three Columbus teens were arrested last week for burglarizing a neighbor”s home.
Kahlid Rashawn Roby, 17, of 109 Poplar St., Christopher Jamar Weaver, 18, of 110 Poplar St., and Alexander Brown, 17, of 225 Taylor St., were all arrested on charges of burglary after a witness went to the police.
The boys broke into a neighbor”s house at 107 Poplar St. and removed a six-foot safe. However, they didn”t cover their tracks.
“When they dragged the stuff away, they left a track from 107 to 109 Poplar,” said Terrie Songer, the public information officer at the Columbus Police Department.
Weaver was arrested after returning to the scene of the crime on Thursday. Roby and Brown were brought to the police department by their parents.
