Starkville police are searching for a suspect in a reported armed robbery at a convenience store on Highway 12.
Police responded to a robbery report at Quality Fuels, at 300 Highway 12 West at 8:36 p.m. Thursday. According to police, the store’s clerk was physically assaulted and suffered minor injuries from the incident.
On Friday, SPD released a photo from store surveillance footage that shows the alleged suspect, who was wearing a black short sleeved shirt with a gray undershirt, white gloves, a black and white hat, and a black bandanna covering his face. SPD describes the suspect as a black male who is about 6 feet tall and average build.
