A Starkville woman has been arrested for a reported stabbing on Christmas Eve.
Rachel Criddle, 44, was arrested Monday evening after officers with Starkville Police Department responded to a call about the stabbing on Sycamore Street north of McKee Park, according to a post on SPD’s Facebook page. The victim, who authorities did not identify, was flown to a hospital out of the Golden Triangle for treatment.
Criddle has been charged with domestic violence-aggravated assault, a felony.
Police are still investigating the stabbing and are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact SPD at 662-323-4131 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
Criddle has been released from Oktibbeha County Jail on $10,000 bond.
