STARKVILLE – The second suspect wanted in connection with a Sunday stabbing outside Mac”s Meat Market was captured this morning by Starkville police.
Starkville Police Department narcotics officers this morning received word Allen “Main” Doss, 36, was hiding in a Central Street apartment. Doss was wanted on an aggravated assault warrant for the Sunday afternoon stabbing which sent a 25-year-old man to OCH Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Starkville police and narcotics officers descended on the Central Street apartment this morning, where Detective Steven Gant spoke with Doss through the door, according to police.
Doss surrendered without incident shortly thereafter. He was being held on $100,000 bond this afternoon.
The other suspect in the stabbing, Kenisha Reed, 33, of 1507 Louisville Street, was arrested Sunday afternoon. Reed was questioned at her apartment, then transported to the Starkville Police Department for additional questioning, where she was charged with aggravated assault. Doss had been at Reed”s apartment minutes before police arrived to question her Sunday afternoon and was on the run ever since.
