The Columbus-Lowndes Emergency Management Agency will test the tornado warning siren system Wednesday at 10 a.m.
If a siren is not functioning, call CLEMA at 662-329-5110, immediately after the test.
“Your support and active participation in this process will ensure that the malfunctioning sirens are reported for repair,” Cindy Lawrence, director of CLEMA, said in a press release.
If severe weather is forecast or observed in the area, the siren test will be postponed until the next monthly test to avoid confusion.
