STARKVILLE — Judge Jim Kitchens doled out a handful of sentences Thursday in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court.
Kitchens sentenced Danny Lamar Fulgham Jr. to 20 years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections, but suspended 10, for the sale of anxiety medication Diazepam. Fulgham also faces five years of post-release supervision and must pay a $1,000 fine.
n Kitchens sentenced Sherron Turk to one year in the MDOC for shoplifting, third offense. Turk also faces four years of post-release supervision and must pay a $200 fine.
Kitchens did not accept the guilty plea of Antronnita Skinner on one count of felony false pretense and instead gave Skinner three years of probation. Skinner also must pay a $100 fine and $964.51 in restitution.
Kitchens sentenced Kiefer Cole to 10 years, but suspended the sentence, for one count of aggravated assault. Instead, Kitchens gave Cole five years of probation, ordered him to pay a $200 fine and $414.51 in restitution.
Kitchens sentenced Larry Smith to three years in the MDOC, but suspended the sentence, for one count of arson. Kitchens gave Smith three years of probation, ordered him to pay a $200 fine and $962.90 in restitution.
Kitchens sentenced Thomas Davis to five years in the MDOC, but suspended the sentence, for possession of cocaine between 1/10 and two grams. Davis faces five years of probation and must pay a $200 fine.
Kitchens did not accept the guilty plea of Steven Paul Ballard for one count of auto burglary and instead gave Ballard five years of probation and ordered him to pay a $200 fine.
