Two local United Way agencies are asking for the community to donate new blankets due to the recent extreme cold weather.
Helping Hands and the Community Resource Connection are receiving donations of new blankets to distribute to those in need during this cold weather season.
New blankets can be dropped off and received at the Community Resource Connection, 1501 Main St., in the Columbus Police Department, Monday-Thursday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Helping Hands, 223 22nd St., from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
