Oktibbeha County is set to make some money off nearly three dozen old vehicles.
The Oktibbeha County Board of Supervisors Monday accepted a bid from Columbus-based Roy Price Car Crushing to crush 34 vehicles and purchase them from the county at a price of $240 per ton. Most of the vehicles were acquired through drug seizures or are old Sheriff''s Office cars which are unsalvageable and have been used for parts, Oktibbeha County Administrator Don Posey said.
