WEST POINT — Tommy L. Rushing, 75, died April 21, 2013, at Community Hospice-Darlington Oaks in Verona. Graveside services are Friday at 11 a.m. at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Kosciusko with the Rev. Neal Rammage officiating. Visitation is 15 minutes prior to services. Mr. Rushing was born Oct. 18, 1937, to the late Ora Rebecca Burgess and William Tommy Rushing. He was formerly employed as a janitor for Blazon Tube Corporation and was of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Lee Collier Rushing. Survivors include his son, Rickey Harrell of West Point; sister, Lyndhale Petrozza of Greenville; and brother, Marvin Rushing of Madison, Wis.
