ABERDEEN — William Harold Wright, 69, died in Monroe County. Services are Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Chapel with Lloyd Sweatt officiating. Burial will follow in Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation is today from 3-8 p.m. at Mr. Wright’s residence, 40039 Foster Road in Aberdeen. Mr. Wright was born Jan. 5, 1944, to the late Farris Preston Wright and Gladys A. Self Wright. He was a graduate of Aberdeen High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. He was a member of First Christian Church and was the owner of Wright Electric Company. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda K. Duke Wright; sisters, Mildred Thompson, Robbie Easter, Edith Bush and Wilma Staten; and brother, Travis Wright. Survivors include his daughter, Samantha Williams of Aberdeen; son, Tony Wright of Hatley; sister, Diane Hamilton of Aberdeen; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers are Robert Duke, Phillip Duke, Phil Duke, Wayne Duke, Dusty Duke and Donnie Easter.
