Edna Katherine Holliman, 82, of Columbus, MS passed away, Friday, July 26, 2013, at her residence. A graveside service for Mrs. Holliman was Monday, July 29, 2013, at 2:00 PM at Memorial Gardens, Columbus, MS with Bro. Roy Hawkins officiating and Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Holliman was born February 25, 1931, to the late George and Gertrude Langford Ray in Columbus, MS. She graduated as Valedictorian from New Hope High School Class of 1950. Mrs. Holliman was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Holliman was preceded in death by her brothers, George David Ray, Jr., Floyd Thomas Ray, James Perry Ray, Charlie Buck Ray, William Douglas Ray and Donald Allen Ray; and sisters, Mary Arlene Berridge and Margaret R. Wood. Mrs. Holliman is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bobby G. Holliman, Columbus, MS; daughters, Linda Holliman, Columbus, MS, Barbara Holliman, Florence, SC, Cindi Holliman, Flowood, MS, Lisa (Darryl) McGee, Dale City, VA, Ann (Matthew) Smith, Tampa, FL and Nancy (Robert) Christian, Millport, AL; son, Larry Holliman, Fulton, MS; sister, Virginia (Lindsay) Homan, Millport, AL; brothers, Jimmy (Shirley) Ray, Ethelsville, AL and Robert Ray, Florida; brother-in-law, Donald (Mary) Holliman, Alvord, TX; sisters-in-law, Maureen Higdon, Warrensburg, MO, Sue Ray, Columbus, MS, Dorothy Ray, Columbus, MS and Debra Ray, Northport, AL; 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lucas Christian, John David Christian, Danny Webster, Kaleb Webster, Jamie Reese and Benjamin Hankinson. Memorials may be made to Palmer Home for Children, P.O.
