WEST POINT — Barbara Kyte Harrell, 81, died Sept. 29, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital–East in Memphis, Tenn. Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Burial is Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery in Knoxville, Tenn. Visitation is two hours prior to services. Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Harrell was born Aug. 17, 1932, to the late Gladys Basinger and Billy Kyte. She was formerly employed as a florist and as a manager at Sears Roebuck. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Harrell. Survivors include her daughters, Gloria Harrell Turner of Starkville and Parry Hare of Fulton; four grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
