Mark Andrew Foster, age 49, died January 2, 2014, at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Services will be 2:30 pm Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Fairview Baptist Church with Rev. Sammy Crawford and Dr. Breck Ladd officiating. Interment will follow at Egger Cemetery in Caledonia, MS. with Gunter and Peel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be 12:30 - 2:30 pm Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Fairview Baptist Church. Mr. Foster was born October 19, 1964, in Columbus, MS to Curtis L. and Helen Foster. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Benjamin Curtis Foster. Mr. Foster was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and a 1983 graduate of S. D. Lee High School. He was also a graduate of MUW with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He worked for Columbus Light and Water Department. In addition to his parents, Mr. Foster is survived by his wife, Pamela Harris Foster of Columbus, MS; daughter, Shelby Brooke Foster of Columbus, MS; sister, Sandra Foster Ward of Columbus, MS; sister-in-law, Christy Harris Adams (Daniel) of Columbus; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Gail Harris of Columbus, MS; grandmother-in-law, Earline Newman of Columbus, MS; nephews, Hunter Foster Ward and Landon Bryce Adams; and niece, Lauren Bailey Adams. Pallbearers will be Terry Westmoreland, Bill Vaughan, John Fields, Tony Atkins, Kirk McKellar, Matt Eller, Kenny Kidder, and Brooks Ferguson. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Landrum, Larry Atkins, the staff of Columbus Light and Water, Dr. Jack Reed, UAB Heart Transplant Staff, Bill Kidder, Dr. Rusty Linton, Jeff Farnham, Bob Wiygul, Bruce Grimes, Jamie Anderson, and Terry Westmoreland’s Sunday School Class.
