WEST POINT — Kathryn Provencher, 85, died Oct. 21, 2014, at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Shannon officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Provencher was born Sept. 8, 1929, to the late Mabel Kathryn King and William Murray Awtrey. She formerly owned Provencher Realty and served in the U. S. Navy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lucy Lippincott; one brother, Coburn Awtrey; and one sister, Susie Guinn Awtrey. She is survived by her husband, Leon Provencher of West Point; son, Alan Provencher of Olympia, Washington; brothers, Frank Awtrey of West Point and James Roy Awtrey of Maben; sisters, Marie Baldwin of West Point, Ann Cooper of Pensacola, Florida and Lois Bittle of Louisiana; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jimmy Donahoo, Tony Rosetti, Bill MacLane, Carl Miller, Tommy Henley and Bobby Hughes.
