Lawrence “Larry” William Baize, Jr., 61, entered into eternal peace on May 22, 2015, at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas in the arms of his wife. Larry was born August 18, 1953, in Denver, Colorado to Lawrence William Baize, Sr. and Virginia Taral Baize. He married Deborah Lynn Gibson on September 1, 1998. He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Larry’s motto in life was “Live, Love, Laugh and Serve”. He served his country in the Army 82nd Airborne Division from 1972 to 1975. He obtained his master’s degree in occupational therapy in 1997 and served as a staff therapist and director of rehabilitation. Larry established a private practice, Professional Therapy Services, Inc., in Montrose, Colorado where he and his wife worked side by side for eleven years. He completed his legacy at Baxter Regional Medical Center as a psychiatric occupational therapist at Hensley Behavioral Health. His natural, God given talent for acceptance, love, caring and healing will be missed by all. Larry is preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Taral Baize; a beloved uncle, Nick Taral and his first born son, Michael Brandon Baize. He leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his father, Lawrence William Baize, Sr.; one sister, Colleen Steinberg; one brother, Calvin Douglas Baize; his soulmate, best friend and wife, Deborah Gibson Baize; three daughters, Tennille Inderdohnen, Oleah Shawntelle Bean and Shannon Collette Hansen; three sons, Skyler Chase Baize, William Bryan Honnoll and Steven Quitman Honnoll; parents-in-law, James Wayne and Bobbie Jean Gibson; three nephews; six nieces; seven beautiful granddaughters and two grandsons. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Larry’s name to Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House, 774 Long St., Mountain Home, AR 72653. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Conner-Hankins Funeral Home & Cremation Center Chapel at 6:30 p.m. with visitation from 4 – 6 p.m. He will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Columbus, Mississippi at 3 p.m. An online guestbook and obituary are available at www.conner-hankinsfuneralhome.com.
