William Leon Bell age 84 died Monday, February 01, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus. Services will be held Thursday, February 04, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Steve Brown officiating, burial will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home Wednesday, February 03, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Mr. Bell was born on Tuesday, September 15, 1931 in Columbus, MS, to the late Durward B. and Rosa Beaty Bell. He was a member of Beersheba Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mr. Bell was retired from the U.S. Air Force, after serving his country for 21 years. During his military service he served in Germany, Guam, and Vietnam. After retirement he continued to work at Columbus Air Force Base as a supply supervisor of requirements unit for 25 years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wives, Klotilde (Lotte) Stalleker Bell , and Peggy Burns Bell, his brothers D.B. Bell, Wendell Bell, Douglas Bell, and Harold Bell. Survivors include: Three Daughters: Susan Wiggins (Wendell), Brandon, MS, Sandra Dunnam (Bill), Columbus, MS, Billie Bell, Columbus, MS, Son: Greg Wiles, (Kelli), Pearland, TX, One Sister: Doris McGlynn, Columbus, MS, Eight Grandchildren: Joey Wiggins Leann King Haley Pridmore Brandon Pedigo Brett Pedigo Nicholas Wiles Chelsea Wiles Emily Miller Ten Great Grandchildren: Asher Wiggins Sims Wiggins Stellen Wiggins Chloe King Graham King Myalynn Pridmore Marlea Pridmore Jon Brantlee Pedigo Liam Pedigo Will Miller. Serving as pallbearers will be: Wendell Wiggins, Joey Wiggins, Brandon Pedigo, Brett Pedigo, Adam King, Bill Dunnam, Gus Warnat, and Phillip Bell.
