Lillie Pearl Hall Tabor, 77, of Steens, MS passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017, at Vineyard Court Nursing Home, Columbus, MS, after a lengthy illness. Visitation will be Friday, January 20, 2017, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Lowndes Funeral Home, Columbus, MS. A Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev. Trent Jaudon officiating in the Lowndes Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Columbus, MS with Lowndes Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Tabor was born March 19, 1939, to the late Almus G. and Louvie Maude Boyd Hall in Columbus, MS. Lillie lived in Columbus all of her early life, attended Franklin Academy and graduated from Lee High School in 1957. After marrying John Tabor, she spent the remaining years of her life living in Meridian and Louisville. Lillie Tabor was a devout Christian, prayer warrior, and a member of South Louisville Baptist Church in Louisville. She loved traveling on church trips, and she was much loved in Louisville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Tabor was preceded in death by her husband-John Tabor; sisters-Lulu B. (James) Turner and Gladys Idell (Edward) Reeves; brother-James S. (Linda) Hall. Mrs. Tabor is survived by brother-Fred B. (Margie) Hall and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Ken Mills, John Albert Young, Jimmy Tabor, Brad Tabor, Allen Young, Jimmy Puckett, and Bubba Warner. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doctors, nurses, and caregivers at Vineyard Court Nursing Center. Memorials may be made to South Louisville Baptist Church, 933 S Church Ave, Louisville, MS 39339.
